BIOGRAPHY

Devin Miles is a German artist and pioneer of the German neo-pop movement. Before 2001, Devin Miles had been working in painting and graphic design until he used his experience in the field of screen printing. Miles connects with the new modern style, combining painting and screen printing to perfection. He is one of the leading artists in contemporary art and is considered a "guardian of tradition" in the neo-pop panorama of German art. Pop art is great business, it's sexy and mobilises culture and consumer goods. Devin Miles is the perfect symbiosis between painting and screen printing, having developed his own style. He is the face of vulnerable women, strong heroes and declining divas. Not only does he adapts pop art, but he takes it to a new level.

Devin Miles ist ein Deutscher Künstler und Wegbereiter der neuen Modern Pop-Art Kunst in Deutschland. Miles beschäftigte sich zunächst mit Grafikdesign und Malerei, bevor er 2001 seine Erfahrungen im Bereich des Siebdrucks umsetzte. In einer gelungenen Symbiose aus Siebdruck und Malerei, schuf Miles eine ihm eigene, neue Stilrichtung der Moderne. Er ist ein bedeutender Künstler der Gegenwartskunst und gilt bereits jetzt als „Keeper of Tradition" der deutschen „Modern Pop-Art" Kunstszene. Devin Miles setzt sich insbesondere für Soziale Einrichtungen ein und stellt jährlich Kunstwerke u.a. für die Berliner Aids Hilfe zur Verfügung. Auf Versteigerungen in der Berliner "Akademie der Kunst" erreichen seine Kunstwerke Höchstpreise. 2010 nahm er mit großem Erfolg an seiner ersten Museumsausstellung in Fulda teil. Er stellte als einziger deutscher Künstler seine Kunstwerke mit Andy Warhol und Robert Rauschenberg aus.

Devin Miles est un artiste allemand et un précurseur de la nouvelle Modern Pop Art en Allemagne. D'abord Miles s'est intéressé à la conception graphique et la peinture mais dés l'années 2001 il a impliqué la sérigraphie dans sa technique. Devin Miles a créé un style très individuelle dans le monde de l'art moderne. On peut même parler d'une symbiose entre la peinture et la sérigraphie. Il est un artiste assez important de l'art contemporain et pour la scène "Modern Pop-Art" en Allemagne. De plus Devin Miles s'engage avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme pour quelques institutions sociales et il fait chaque années des dons sous formes de ses oeuvres pour par exemple l'événement "Berliner Aids Hilfe". Ses oeuvres attirent sur des enchères de l'académie de l'art de Berlin des prix très élevés. En 2010 il faisait la première fois partie d'une exposition de musée à Fulda, avec beaucoup de succès. Il était le seul artiste allemand qui exposait avec Andy Warhol et Robert Rauschenberg.
